Activities

Beach Clean operations have now been taken over by the A&B Council.

Our village orderly is active and very helpful. We also now have two Community Wardens who patrol the shorefront to help keep the peace.

Medical Centre

(Not exactly hot off the press, but an event worth a mention)

The new Medical Centre is now complete and occupied. It is located in McAuley Place, a little further up Feorlin Way. The modern building is larger and has additional facilities. Parking space is improved. 

New Shops

The Eureka Pound Shop has extended into the area temporarily occupied by a Fruit and Veg. Shop. A Pharmacy has now opened in the village. Following a period when a number of shops closed, it is good to see these new enterprises, reversing the trend. (Again not red hot current news)

Construction Work

Work on the Dalandui Hotel site is proceeding and there is considerable activity and progress. This appears to be an enterprising development which promises to be an asset to the area. There is further building in progress to the East of Whistlefield Hill. We will provide further details of these projects as information becomes available.

Swing Park
